John obtained the Kew Diploma in 1984, following three years full-time study. He has many years horticultural experience in the Nursery and Garden Centre industries. In addition he has run his own Horticultural Planning and Consultancy business for many years.

John's family used to own an orchard and fruit-growing business in Duncton, near Petworth, which has given him an in-depth knowledge of Fruit and Vegetable Culture in addition to his experiance in Ornamental Horticulture. For several years John has been a lecturer of Horticulture in further education and he also provides in house training for horticultural employees.

Keren's first career was in Civil Engineering, where she learnt her Drawing and Survey skills. She later spent three years at Hadlow College of Agriculture and Horticulture, gaining a National Diploma with Distinction in Landscape and Amenity Horticulture in 1993.

For five years Keren worked full time at Perryhill Nurseries in East Sussex, renowned throughout the country for the vast range of plants stocked. In 2002, following four years study, Keren obtained a BA Hons in Garden Design from Greenwich University.

John and Keren have recently invented a Quick and Painless way of Planting large numbers of Bulbs in Turf with minimal disturbance.

In this way one is always working with, rather than against nature, and a harmonious result can be achieved.
